Why would you not ?
what do you think we shot before tumblers were generally available ? +
I have 4 sets of dies to swap --
all include the proper Handle adapter
All are cmr sizers
all are in excellent condition, no rust, plier marks or shiney wear spots -
7mm Mag set -- no box

308 may work, though it appears the neck diameter of a 308 is somewhat larger diameter than 06 or 7.62 --- the 308 brass must have thicker wall --
all case and chamber dimensions are inexact --...
You are correct, but we size 308 to 311 for cast bullets --
The point is -- the mouth of a 303 MR die is too small to admit a 7.62 case --
For jury rig muzzle sizing of 7.62russ I would try a 30/06 MR - it appears to be closest dimensionally to russ case -- shoulder to mouth -sthe 303 - 30/40 and others are smaller in diameter at the...

Dent is no issue, a crease is -- a sharp crease will likely split --
Sorry, the da is the only 7.62 russ bit I have -
might lay a .010 shim in a 45/70 # 17 for temp use ----
I have a #163 DA available for trade ---
19 march -- sorry it is a #153, bad eyes and a unclear number strike --
@ taylorh --- I have a 7.62 russ DA die available -- at least my database says i do -
I will double check tomorrow --
On the handle adapters, they can easily be bored out or bushed -
Making a new one is not for the faint of heart --
I had the cut the two or three threads turning the lathe by hand --
for a temp substitute try a 10-24 or 32 socket head machine screw, grinding enough thread off to fit the shellholder bore - perhaps a #8 will work as well --
spring from a ballpoint pen??

Thanks woody -- i do but need them for 38spl ---
I could use a 355 - 356 expander plug -- hane the body --
i do believe the m die is a 7/8 die --- for 310 or t-l you need a short 1 9/16" die and plug
hi froggie -- 2 sources -- stoegers 1956 and my compete set -
checked my set, it fits -- checked stoeger 19 is for 22 lovell -- probably 25 ss as well --
no spare 9 --
ps -- ever seen a...
41 mag #30 priming chamber -- swap for #10 32/20 or #23 30carb or #15 30rem
I need a DA 8mm also marked 118 -- will trade a 7.62 russ or 303 brit da or what ever you want that i have -

It does not require too much patience -
All these small scales, at least i think so, are knife edge scales and should be read while still moving.
In fact they are often not accurate at rest --
I...

I have the same scale, same age. Stopped using oii a month after i got it. The wicking oil negated any benefit.
I read the scale while it is still moving anyway -- +5 to - 5 equals zero --
