I also run my fingernail around the ring to remove flaired material.

Loaded a ladder of loads for 7.62x54r with IMR 4227. Running low on SR4759 and can't find anymore.

I guess you could say I bubba'ed mine also. Trimmed the wood off of the barrel and removed the rear iron sight to mount a scout scope.

Right now my favorite powder is IMR SR4795. I use a Lee 312-185-1R sized to .311.

So I discovered my Lee 7.62x54r boolit seating die won't allow boolits larger than .311 through the hole.
I guess it's a boolit guide.

1938 Tula 91/30 with scope mounted and chopped stock.

Don't plan on doing much more, maybe a glass bed.
