How is the test target who comes with the gun. What size of group?

I have a FA 357 mod 97 my self and the only limitation whit that gun is the owner.

Thanks 7BR but problem is that use of regular GC dont fit this bullets i think it is for a old lyman/rcbs GC who is not produce any moore.

Felix now i have same figurs Dia of shank is 0.3996-0.4015 lenght of shank is 0.2283
un size bullet is 0.4114
Number of the Lyman mould he use is 497 another number on the mould is 410610 B

I agree with Sundogg1911 if lyman, saeco etc produce 6 cavitys in cast iron i have bye a coupel direktly.

I use vv N 310 3.0 grains to 148 grain wc 38 spl
or vv N 310 3.4 grains to 158 grain lead bullet 38 spl.
This is light loads i use. I have S&W 686 with 6" barrel.

I dont like the quality of LEE moulds i spend same dollar more and have quality iron mould from saeco,mimek, Lyman, etc

That the way boolits should look. Must be perfect temp and a good alloy and a experence caster.

I use carnuba red from lar45 and felix.
Im pleased with both.

I cant find any problems to put sprue back in pot if you dont put so mutch so the temp goes down to mutch.
I doit all the time.

I think the biggest problem is to hold constant temp on the mould. When you cast with 2 moulds temp will slowly increase and after aprox 1 hour will be to high. I usely stop casting in about 5 - 10...

I have never notice that cold will raise pressuer. If you make a maximum load in very cold wether and use it in a hot summer day then you will found that primers and shells indicate high...

Who is produce 357 maximum revolvers.
I now Dan wesson have produce 357 super magnum but i dont now if they doit any moore.

I agree with you to 100%. length/ crimp is very importent for accuracy.

I no nothing about machining but the moulds work fine. Do you now other mould companies who have nose-pour moulds.

I think lee make some fine moulds. I have 3moulds of lee they are 6 cavitys 358 dia. But aluminium moulds dont have a long life like iron moulds.

I suspect it is like you write but I whont try something who is constructed for the purpes.
