Powder by the pound has the same traffic purple you are seeking as thats where his stuff comes from.

I use 1/4 ww to 3/4 pure lead,then powder coat.
works great for my 45 acp,10mm,44 mag,38spl and 9mm.
You dont need as hard lead when you powder coat!

i warm my bullets.
130 degrees for about 2 minutes.
I also run a dehumidifer and keep moisture under 40% in my shop.
Try warming the bullets.

Make sure the bullet passes the smash test.

I would use copper chore boy to remove all leading,then clean your barrel spotless clean then use jb bore paste to lap the barrel to make it smoother.
This will take care of your problem!
