I was using lyman #2 water droping. I did actually use some hornady unique for lube.. I just checked one that I didnot size and it is .301 at narrowest point and .311 at wide pont. It...

This is my fist time sizeing or gas checking rifle boolit. I am using a 309 lee sizeing die. It is taking off the lube/crimp groce one side. Is there somthing I am doing wrong.

I am not sure the 308 die has an expander. You may need to get the lee expander die.

I use the lee 2 cavity round ball molds and the sharpshooter molds. Of all the mold I own the sharpshooter is my favorite to use. They have a combo OO/#4.

I am enjoying this enough at this point that I could see myself melting down the good ones just to recast if I ever ran short on laed.

Those were the worst not counting the first 2 fills. But out of about 100 I didnt get any that were perfect. But most were better than those in the picture. I was just trying the molds out that...
