I cannot find Trail Boss anywhere. The bullet I am casting now is the heaviest available that will feed in the Marlin test gun.

Good afternoon fine folks.
I am working up a load with a 420gr RCBS bullet and 11gr of Unique for the new Marlin 1895 Trapper in .45-70. I am currently working on the review and am hoping to get a...
I had the Kahr CT40 as a test sample after SHOT last year and though it is not the same caliber it is a similarly built pistol. The one I reviewed was a solid pistol.
sewerman68,
I agree with you 100% especially on the capacity. CZ did well with this pistol. I have Robert Bank to thank for turning me onto CZ a year ago. He is good for more than just casting...
Thank you both for the feedback, I really appreciate that.
In my opinion the advantage of the 9mm is capacity. If I were to be reduced to 5-6 rounds I would opt for a revolver in 44 Special but that is just me.
I finally got the CZ P-09 review published after really pushing the pistol. I would appreciate your thoughts and opinions on this one. I was introduced to CZ last SHOT show with the 75 B Omega and...
I have not thought of that but it is a great idea. Any thoughts?
Thank you both for the feedback, I truly appreciate that.
I found the caliber conversion on the website myself, while researching the pistol.
44man, I am with you brother. I was disappointed case...
I understand the 9mm is a viable defensive round if you use solid defensive ammunition but with the Glock 26, which is not much bigger, you have 10+1 capacity.
I always looked at the advantage of...
I would say this falls under the handcannon section.
My review and video of the new 2015 Desert Eagle is published. This was my first experience with the Desert Eagle and the .50 AE. It was not as...
Glock 29.
Yea, I know but it works and who cares if it gets beat up.

I have published my review of the Hornady Rapid Safe. In my opinion it is a cool...

I had a chance to check out the Handgun Hideouts book, a real book configured to hide a...
Wow, you did have some issues with that revolver. That sucks.
Did you contact Charter Arms and see if they could repair it? The one I reviewed has clean rifling and locks up pretty tight with no end...
Colt Delta Elite, bought in the PX on Camp Lejeune.
That was in 1994 and I still have it though it is a bit worn it is and always has been 100% reliable.
Here are a few ballistic tests i have done that may help answer some of your questions.

Thank you very much for all of the feedback.
I have decided to buy the test sample and start shopping for molds. I have a pretty good collection of brass and factory bullets but I like the look of...
I shot some warm .44 Specials out of the Bulldog and I agree, they were a handful.

I really liked the little snubby revolver is .44 Special but as always your thoughts and...
After several emails on the American Derringer 10mm Auto asking about ballistic performance, I have updated the review to include 5 rounds shot into ballistic gel with chart and photographs...
This is my frame of mind as well. Though I love the 10mm Auto and I do like the little derringer, 2 rounds just seems not quite enough considering what a slow reload.
I have one of the old Colt...
I had a chance to review this budget priced Government Model from Auto-Ordnance. Turns out it was a pretty solid pistol. As always your thoughts and opinions are welcome.
