I've read this thread a few times, many thanks Jon, for your efforts on this!
I found a 45 in a gunshop a few weeks back for $15, as is. Stopped back and it was still there on Saturday, so I...

Clever!
Based on an older thread here, I got a 30 carbine and a 32 S&W insert from Titan when I ordered my dies. ...

So how are you flaring? Pistol insert in the rifle die?

I for one am interested in hearing how it works out for you. I went the other way, and got the new auto drum and long and short dies to go with my new Lee turret. If it works as planned, it's much...

0.314 diameter looks fine for the 32 mag as well. Anyone tried the 75 grainer in the faster 32's? Mine are all heavier, be nice to have a smaller boolit with TL grooves.
What Bzcraig said.
The Lee mold may be fine, but for the small difference in price, there is little reason NOT to get the higher quality molds from NOE or one of the other folks you see here.

That's a great tip.
Is it hard to remove the case when you are done?
Thanks!

Finally!
Wish they had the TL version :)
They should do the 113 grain 30 cal, too.
Bet they'd sell a bunch of those.

Ben,
my apologies - I did not mean to misquote or speak for you. I just appreciate your efforts on our behalf. FWIW, I have no ax to grind about 45/45/10 either - most everything I have read about...

Rereading the thread, Ben mentions simple and economical as goals back on page 12 or 13. Nothing about not cooking. My mistake. Maybe the no cooking was just me :)

Interesting - I wonder I some sort of polymerization is happening .....sorry for the thread drift -
Back OT - I think Ben had commented early on in the thread that one of his goals was a lube that...

Can't comment about the equivalence, but you could probably skip the cooking - there's another thread about mixing JPW past and one step liquid and it seems to dissolve the JPW with no heat.

Well, naptha, Stoddard solvent, and xylene are all available at the hardware store in the paint section. I've not seen benzene in a store since the 70's. If we could figure out the wax, we might be...

I'd be interested in hearing the details as well.

Ben -
Yes my alox is old indeed - at leave a few years - prolly closer to 7-8. Still liquid, though. Doesn't seem like it should have degraded if it is still liquid in the bottle. Heck it's the...

Are you all getting a lot of residue as the lube sits?
I am getting quite a bit - maybe 15% at the bottom of the bottle. It resuspends if I shake it up a bit, but I wonder if my alox is too old...

I've got a few #1 MkIII parts in a thread on swap forum, also have a dp Indian that I can scavenge parts off.
PM me if interested.

There are folks who have tumbled straight JPW successfully, right? Seems like it might work for low velocity loads.

KLR:
Can you expand a bit on "take light cuts"? How small are you talking about here?
I am wondering how many passes was required to get to depth.
Thanks!
