I am always looking on facebook for lead and never get that lucky. Im in your area if you ever run into more than you can use.

Most of the lead in a battery is in the lead sulfate paste. This takes a little more than heating it up in a pot to get the lead out of it.

I use the KAB4 setup from amazon and have no problem with a 14" dutch oven filled to within about 2" from the top. That is around 200-250 lbs of lead.

You can get a big dutch oven for around $30 at Academy sports. Melted several thousand lbs in one with no issue.
