Google "gun kaboom", lots of examples.
Might google, "3d printed gun fail", has results too.

Forum: Swaging
There are also other ways of running 3ph equipment on single phase. That don't have the costs that rotary converters have.

No, the 4 digit Dillon presses have a pocket swage station at #3 as part of the normal operations. Swaging is concurrent with loading, not an extra step, like when using a 550.

I suppose the same could be said of a 1050, that has a priming system that's acting up...
The plastic tip on the primer tube is my first suspect. The 4 digit Dillon's don't have the life time...

I met him in Frisco, when he gave me his first samples to try out. I didn't think I needed the product because I already have 8 over head lights in my fairly small reloading room/office. I was...

You can just process brass on them, just don't perform the steps you don't want to do.
Looks like this.

Yeah, I don't case gauge until the product is finished, I don't care as much if the case is good at the beginning of the process as after all are completed.

As much as I like to build things, I am with M-tecs on this one. Spend your effort setting up the 1050 right, both the swage station and primer station.
They are not the simplest press to setup...
13.0 grains of lilgun with a remington 6 1/2 primer, in a case with just portion of the neck that holds onto the 35 grain v-max, sized. Generally shoots ~ .3's for me.
Forum: Hunting with CB's
I really only hunt the lone boars any more. Its much more effective for me to trap, I get photos when they arrive, call the trap and drop the gates and go back to bed and deal with them in the...

If the ammunition is for several rifles of the same caliber, I use case gauges.

Or the rifle. Can't get much more accurate, don't even need to own, much less know how to use any measuring tools. As the actual chamber is your go/no go gauge.

I built mine years ago with a 4"x 24 cylinder, 8hp BS engine, H beam and 1" plate I had, used a 13 gpm pump. I generally use it with the engine running around half speed.

Yep, I own that many single stage presses but own even more progressives, so I don't have to use them as much. :)
The OP's setup reminds me why turret presses exist.

I use these to control the valves on my air compressor, from the different buildings.

I use late '90's" early 2000 GM solenoids they used for doors, hatches and trunks. They are powerful and are spring return.

I just checked the torque on my Lee universal decapping die with a witness mark and applying force until it tightened further ~20ft/lb is where it moved. It will decap crimped pockets without...
Forum: Reloading Equipment
The Lee decapping system is pretty good, if you set it right.
Its a 1/8" NPT collet that holds the pin, when set right, its good enough to poke a primer out but an obstruction will just slide the...

Some electronic triggers are just mechanical designs that are tied to electronics. So you still have an impact on thee primer.
The remington used a special primer that only worked in them and...
