Gorilla Glue works for me. If they do come lose its a quick fix. I have a set of handles for most of my regular use molds. the ones I have glued on have held up well.

Think about using a couple of large C clamps on the rim to aid in poring lead. Six inch clamps work well and does not get too hot. I use them all the time.
