Anybody happen to have Quickload, or something similar that could tell me what 1340 fps equals for pressure?

Anybody happen to have Quickload, or something similar that could tell me what 1340 fps equals for pressure?
Never heard bad about CCI before, and just buy all CCI for consistency's sake.
Could be wrong, but that sounds like a contaminated or wet powder?
I did have failure to ignite once, actually...
Went ahead and figured "what the heck". The 11.2 gr. load is probably less than 15 000 copper units, and hot loads can be twice that. Did a little extrapolating, and figured that I wasn't going to...
Hard to get ahold of some preferred powders these days. I was kind of hoping that someone with Quickload would chime in on what the estimated pressures would be.
.450 Bushmaster.
Should have mentioned that I'm using CCI. Not sure if they are as hot as Winchester. Figured for non precision work the magnum primers would be "free horsepower". I figure that for the heavy loads...
Hi guys. Looking for a warmish load for Bisley Blackhawk. The max that I've found for regular Colt loads is about 11.2 gr. of N350 with I believe regular large pistol loads with a 255 gr. cast, or...
The word "magnum" was just kind of a exaggerated term. Looking for a little more performance. Maybe not necessarily a magnum.
Not looking so much for a powerful defense gun, as I would strongly consider the Ruger, or the slightly bigger GP-100 that some consider a better gun, but a small single action fun gun. But with a...
Just wondering what there is for genuinely small original spec 1862, or 1849 model pistols with a cartridge conversion.
Looking for one that comes as a cartridge revolver already, or can be...

Yeah, I think the Henry is the best option for a nice lever now.
Or maybe an old Marlin from the 70s or 80s. If you want to spend money on something, and mount a scope, I think an old Marlin is...

I imagine that there would still be some semblance of internet, and probably a few towers up, and being maintained depending on how bad things get. I'd probably still use it as needed. At home, I...

Never heard of anyone having an issue with the minimags in anything before. They're a bit more money than the cheap ones, but less than the expensive stuff, so I have some boxes around.
I also...

Population density is pretty low around here. A lot of land and animals out there. Might be some stuff that gets to pretty low population numbers; but whoever doesn't hunt now, isn't going to pick it...

Old post; but I just have to comment.... that'd be the day I do business with looters and marauders.
Maybe just to clean up whatever they dropped/have no use for when they come looking for stuff...

Probably in about one year everything I bought had a problem right out of the box.
Bought a rebadged Hatsan air rifle, but after a while the trigger or anti bear trap mechanism failed making it...

I see the Savage 340 in 30-30 fairly regularly, online. Occasionally I see the more rare version in .222. Interestingly the mag used is the same. Of course I don't think it would be a help to you, as...

Doesn't have to be an airgun rated scope, as a PCP doesn't have that reverse double recoil that beats up on regular scopes so bad.
I went the cheap route, and picked up an old made in Japan...

I think it's some kinda law that states, that any contrary opinion to the significant other must be taken as gospel. Even though I might have read about it, saw it, done it, or otherwise researched...
Not sure if Arisaka99 is still looking, but I thought I would mention that a fast burning powder leaves less residual pressure at the end of the barrel, and a longer barrel helps keep it quiet.
I...

I have a .35 Remington that I plan on casting for (one day..), and I am looking at picking up a .444 Marlin. It seems that it would be problematic as well. Same twist rate from what I've read.

I know it's been done with success, but how tough is it? Considering another gun with microgroove and wondering if it's worth waiting for a newer version to come up? Also taking into consideration...

I remember the earlier Guide Guns were ported, but then they quit. I hear that the gas velocity was a bit too low to make much difference.
Kind of doubt the other smaller cartridges below .444...

Thanks 358; I suppose there is not much point in asking what your load is, as I have no RL-12, and it is unobtainium now. Do you recall if they made a replacement, or do Alliant powder customers just...

Thanks Larry, good stuff. At the moment, I need some data for jacketed. I guess have a book that gives me a starting place.
