Well, I finally found myself a #17 shell adapter for my .380 die set. It happened to come in a set of 9mm dies and I figured I might as well add another set of handles... This will give me one handle...

I'll even put it back together for you... ( I scavenged it for parts ).

I have 38 special, .380 auto, 45 colt, and 45 acp dies. Unless I run across a 9mm set, I can't see getting anything else. I'm still waiting for replacement 45 acp...

No problem at all. There was a brand new listing yesterday for a real 45ACP set ( minus the shell adapter ) with a trimmer and I jumped on that one.

The manual page was helpful, but did not resolve my problem. The explanation above is VERY helpful. I've contacted the 310 shop regarding either the correct expander die or a longer expander plug....

There's quite a bit of thread left on the die when it makes contact with the shell adapter. It does contact the shell adapter. I didn't think about just removing the shell adapter. I'll try that.
