I usually empty my 40 pound Master Pot in about 45 minutes with my Lee 6 cavity molds. They’re very good molds. Depends on caliber, the number of bullets I get per pot. About 600 with .44s and .45 s,...
Forum: Gas Checks
I’ve found gas checks available at Sage’s outdoors every time I’ve looked. Both copper and aluminum. I’m still gonna get checkmakers for the calibers I use, just in case. Harles
Just refreshed my...

I have a master caster converted to master pot that I like very well. I’ve cast about 3500 pounds of wheel weight ingots so far. You can get them from Magma Engineering with a PID. I’m sure they cost...

I just bought a new mold from Miha. Just over a week from ordering to receiving the mold. All of my 5 MP molds are really good. I certainly hope all is well with him. I hope to buy more of his...

Hello fellow casters. I haven’t posted much on here, but I still come here often. I’ve been reading the posts about PID’s for a while, and been interested. I contacted Hatch and had him fix me up for...
Mine feeds the NOE 360-230 RFN very well. It also thinks it’s a target rifle with 1” groups at 100 yards as long as I do my part.

Hey Bazoo
I’d like to send him my regards. I called him last year, and really enjoyed speaking with him. Will call him again tomorrow, but just in case, I’d appreciate his email address. Thanks for...

Would you mind naming that mold for me. Sounds interesting. Harles
Well, I said I’d let y’all know how things worked out. I got 2 new molds in mail from Jared on Saturday. Haven’t gotten to cast with them yet, but am heat cycling now. Hopefully will cast tomorrow. I...
I received an email from Jared today. He apologized for dropping the ball on my mold problem, and asked for a refresher about the problem. I told him the problem. He emailed again and said he’d...
Well I sure hope I have the same result that you did. I’ve been calling him and have emailed him. So far, no results. I hope he has a reasonable explanation and all is well with him. Harles
Sorry to report the same situation with Arsenal that you have. Bought 2 molds, H&G 503’s, both out of spec. I spoke to Jared on Jan.11 about them. Was told I’d have replacements within a couple of...
I used red loctite on my spruce plate screw. The one without a set screw. Used on 3 molds, no more problems.

I have a magma mold 9mm 115 RN. Also a 120 gr truncated cone, 6 cavity Lee mold. Harles
I have 2 Arsenal molds. They are great molds. He’ll make a custom mold for you if you need or want one. I’ve been thinking about a WFN in 405 to 420 weight in .480 caliber.
I have the NOE copy of that mold in a 5 cavity aluminum. Casts really well. Still in the developing stage for loads. Made 300 keepers in about 20 minutes. Very few rejects. Sized to .311. Dropped...

I have a BLR in .358 Winchester. Trigger is pretty good on mine. Most of my shots at deer are 100 yds or less. I cast my own NOE 360-230 WFN bullets and get 3 shot 1 1/4” groups at 100 yds with them....
My Browning lever action can’t be worked slowly. When I operate the lever briskly, I have no problem. My JES rebore on a Howa 1500 in .35 Whelan does just fine with the .360-230 WFN.

I use the pressure system with my star, love it, and recommend it. No trouble seating gas checks at all. Feed bullets nose first always in the star. 1000 bullets per hour is no problem. Difference or...
I agree completely with the good reports about Arsenal molds. Also agree about the finish on the sprue plate. Did not cause any problems though, and looked better after casting and luring with bull...
l agree 100%. If you don't know how to care for them, you can get great advice on this board. Harles

Try turning your rear sight down. Unless you had a typo. Lowering rear sight or raising front sight makes bullets hit lower.
