[QUOTE=Rcmaveric;4862379]I know what you are talking about. I believe there is not a difference. The H is the out side of the die and the I is the inside plunger. Only difference I remember is that...

Has anyone used this bullet in the 350 Legend or 357 RSM as of yet?
It would need to be sized .356" to chamber for the Legend I would think.
I would like to get some feedback.
Check out the ATN owners forum. ATN Smart HD Owners. Tons of info. Great help site.
You might want to consider a lower base magnification. They pixilate as
you zoom. Plus your field of view for...
The AR platform does not like those big meplat bullets. Try a spire point or round nose if younare going to load cast. Thats what my best cycling loads are.
ATN makes Binox which is IR based and a full line of IR and Thermal sights up to the $6,000+ range.
Pulsar and FLIR do as well.
Thermal sights are pretty impressive. Watch the vids
I've loaded up to 250gr cast in my 357 RSM, which is essentially the same cartridge. But wondering what you folks have shot in the 350L.

Let's not forget the 38-55. A wonderful, light recoil cartridge that's superbly accurate!
[QUOTE=country gent;4811940]Before Id modify a mold I would modify some bullets to test. If you have a lathe its not hard to do. Put a piece of round stock in the chuck and bore the nose form in it,...

The old Postell style bullet of about 525gr has been around forever. That has been a long range favorite of mine for years. Hunting I use a Paul Jones custom design that drops at .460" and weighs...

Ahhh, the good old days... I bought a 7.7 Arisaka and a 6.5 Carcano from an ad in the back of the American Rifleman. $13 each plus $5 shipping. Then came the 1963-4 gun control acts.

Unfortuately that design wont feed in my AR. Not pointy enough even with the feed ramps opened up.

Starline does make the 2.125" correct brass. A 1:20 bullet over BP with a .030" veggie wad and you and your shoulder will love that rifle.
My Winchester Highwall in 38-55 loves a variety of cast...

My Lee is a plain base. I had one hollow base mold years ago. Sold it. Would not shoot worth a damn.
Forum: Black Powder Cartridge
The Lee 405gr also shoots extremely well at a very reasonable price. I also have a light 405gr Accurate mold that throws a bullet with a meplat almost as big as the base for hunting only.
Just some...
