I just worked a load up for my Marlin 1895. 405 grain jacketed soft point over 43 grains aa2230. very accurate (apple sized groups on steel at 100 yds) and hits like a freight train.

suspect the rate of twist may too slow for that heavy of a boolit. I've seen that in my Marlin 336 in 35 rem, shoots the 200 grain boolits fine, but won't spin the 250 grainers.

I have one of the lee 8mm karabiner molds, throws 240 grains from my alloy, if you're interested in buying it, let me know.
All I shoot nowadays is the 185 grain NOE boolit.

They work really well, but are fairly expensive per caliber. Look at the Lyman E-Z trim that Midway sells, sometimes they're on sale for $115. Best bargain in a case trimmer, in my opinion.

Lyman 446110, pc, over 29 grains of imr 4198 is what shoots good in mine.
