I was told by a very respectable person that it was the twist rate of the inlines was the culprit why nobody shoots full diamater heavy lead bullets inan inline.

according to the ruger website you can't get a 41 in a hunter anymore.

thanks john. I shoot typically about a grain and a half under. I think i will leave this gun the way the factory made it and shoot the irons.
always thought it was a pretty cheasy mount design....
I have a 357 gp 100 ruger. I bought the scope mount for it when i got the gun to put a red dot on it. worked fairly well for the red dot.
but when i put a scope on i had problems with the screws...
