im surprised no one mentioned a henry 30-30. a little barrel heavy but typical henry quality, good . Im thi.king of getting one.

Just thinking about the basics here, leading at the end of the barrel usually means your lube is giving up. Bens red is reportedly a good lube, but ive never used it personnally.

You might want to check the diameter of those first. That is a 32-20 mold that should drop at .314 or so. hopefully your friend sized them down to 311 or so for your 30-30

I started a 16 gr w my mihec 272 gr hp. I worked up to 18.5. no pressure signs there, howeber, it was not as much fun nor as accurate as 17.5 grains. I'm staying there. lol

this guy must have put the dovetail on the barrel, unless he rechambered the BC 45-70 to 45LC. i have one coming in 30-30 and want the same globe sight, need to find a local smith.

i melt my Felix lube with a candle wax melter. just refill it after every session. that way you won't scorch the lube.
