I used a 200 watt heater on a 4" x 6" 3/4" thick aluminum plate with a PID control, it heats fast and holds within 1 degree F. 100-200 should be fine, 50 to 75 would probably be OK if you use a...

I'm not sure what type of heated base you are using, you don't say but will assume its the magma one. Over an hour to come to temp is way to long. I have a homemade rig that uses a 200 watt cartridge...

You may have to call them but they do make a conversion kit to replace the handle assembly see this thread...

PID If you shop aound and use stuff you have on hand (like an old computer power supply for the case, old wire and switches) you can probably make one for 50 to $60. Look on evilbay and pick up a...

Use a hair dryer or a 100 watt light bulb close to the lube body. Do yourself a favor and get or make a heated base, it will make your life a lot easier.

Sounds like too much heat or pressure or both for the lube running out of the die. But contact Ballisticast, I'm sure they will help you get up and running.

If its anything like the Master Caster just remove 2 screws from the single and replace it with the 2 hole orifice.

2 should be sufficient, Magma uses a 1500 watt band for their 40lb pot.
Why such a thick base?
Bottom pour would be great but its a little more involved.
You going to use a PID?

I think they are talking about the sizer not the reloader. You can get a new Star sizer from Magma, there is just a pretty long wait cause of all the craziness now.

I think it would be better to have it. I have one on mine, but I didn't use magmas setup. I ordered the air cylinder online and it came with the nut. I got two parts from Magma, the aluminum piston...

I read somewhere, I think over at brianenos.com forum that Mr Bulletfeeder was looking into making a collator for the star lubesizer. Probably won't be cheap though.
