Nice holder. I too got tired of searching for my tubes so I made a rack for mine too. Also used a Sharpie to identify size and put clear tape on them to preserve the writing.

It's nice when you can utilize what you have laying around. Been trying to do that myself lately. BTW,great job..

Good fix on your Chi-Com press. You're absolutely right, RCBS should've addressed this problem years ago, instead they opted to lose business over a simple thing like spent primers.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
This fix would work for the earlier Rock Chuckers, but you would have to mill a small slot in the back of the casting as the stroke is too short and primer residue would make its way into the ram...

Most likely it was the Forster Co-Ax press
Forum: Reloading Equipment
The spent primers go directly into a trash can below the bench - nothing fancy to hook up or hose to attach, primers go straight down and exit out the back of the ram.
Between my cost for the...

I talked with the folks at RCBS and they told me that drilling deep holes was the reason why they don't do it. I told them I had no problem and I was using manual machinery. I guess their CNC...

Hi Guys,
To those of you that might have a lathe and mill available, I have come up with a final cure for the Rock Chucker Supreme depriming problem. This fix will not cost you a cent and cures...

About 5 years ago I introduced my Primer Guard primer catcher for the Rock Chucker Supreme loading press. It was a real hit with quite a few, but now I have what I believe is the best fix for the...

Greg, where have you seen Berdan primers for sale? We have looked high and low and it seems as though all the suppliers in the US no longer carry them. Someone said that Berdans are restricted from...

Always used to use Pilkington's Rust Blue in the past, but thought I would give Andy's formula a chance and am glad I did. Although time consuming (as is any rust blue), the results were just as good...

Although not "Homemade" just thought I'd share with the forum my new PowerArm vise by Garfield Engineering (bought out by Wilton). Found this at a Flea Market in Painesville, Ohio. The vise was...

Hi Steve,
I patterned mine after the CH one. Did you make yours? I fabricate many of my own tools, sometimes improving on proven designs, other times I try to re-invent the wheel (not always...

Got tired of always looking for the right size driver, so I finally made a rack for my drivers so I could find them easily.

I have CMC triggers, but for the money, Rise Armament makes a quality "drop-in" unit that is very reasonably priced.

I know I'm a bit late on this thread, but my choice would be the RCBS Rock Chucker Supreme. I can't think of any caliber (other than cases based on the 50BMG) that it can't handle. Combined with my...

bouncer50,
I'm currently building a CZ26 in pistol form (leaving anything that has to do with the folding stock off the gun). I'm planning on using (copying) the striker system sold by Re-Mil. You...

I have limited space in my loading room, so I made a quick change system for my 4 presses. When not in use, I use a filler plate on the bench for an even surface. Here's a video of my quick change...

mozeppa, I for one applaud your efforts. All joking aside, if you have a caliber that can be reloaded, then get the stuff to do it. Never know when the Dems will get back into office, so you should...

I like the Wilson, but don't like the cartridge holders, but as stated, very accurate.

At the risk of getting into a pissing contest about which came first, the chicken or the egg, let me just explain why I trim after sizing - this is my way and by no means the only way.
Do an...

To achieve true case dimensions, trimming should only be performed after sizing.

My personal choice for speed, accuracy, and reliability is the Forster Power Trimmer. Once set up on the drill press, you can zip through 1000 cases in no time flat. I wouldn't think of any other.
