OK thanks. I was not sure I'm still green at casting. I'm thinking that the water dropping will help keep them round and reduce ding marks but was not sure if it would harden them.

I'm going to pick up a .380 round ball mold this weekend and cast some for my 1851 Colt Navy. Will water dropping them make them to hard? I will be using lead with 1 or 2% tin.

I was testing both pellets at between 14 and 12 FPE. I was only testing 20 shots at a time so did not pay attention to psi. I want to get the extreme spread down to 10 if I can then I'll do a full...

I did some testing this morning with AA 8.4 and 10.3 pellets. I shot 20 rounds of each at different velocities and this is the best I have for now.

I would still add more screws to the valve just in case. That one round head screw is not enough for me to feel safe.

If you have a 80 cf ft tank @ 3000psi and a Discovery rifle this is what you will get. Starting fill pressure for gun of 2000 and refill at 1000 you can fill the gun 80 times.

PCP's like the Benjamin Discovery is only rated for 2000psi. So a 3000psi tank will work but the size of the tank will determine how many fills you will get.
