not jam. every 22 auto i have ever seen has had ammo related jamming problems. i have never had a malfunction from either of my .25's with any ammo.

dont the moulds have to be undersized to allow for the build up of paper?
6.5 grains of unique with the rcbs 55 grain cast bullet.
my ruger and marlin love rcbs' 300 grain bullet and 10 grains of unique.
call hodgden they will work with you on it. they want trail boss to replace unique as the one powder that does it all for cast bullets. i've seen loads for most calibers including the 300 win mag.
actually it is all i load with for paper punching and clays; 357, 45 colt, 223, 300 whisper, 300 wby mag, 35 remington and 12 gauge it works for all of them. i use unique in service rifle...
why? do you get confused by the red ,green, blue or clay "dot" powders from aliant too.:roll::roll:
if you are worried about double charges look into trail boss powder. 3.5 grains should do it. a double charge will spill. also trail boss is becomming the reduced reloaders dream. i've seen loads...
i don't think so. you will most likely get the same life out of them as you would with 45 colt because they will split because of the belling and flaring of the case mouth.
