3118 is a great mold for 32wcf ( 32-20) but I have that base covered.
Marlin 1894 32-20 (1907) and Winchester 1892 32wcf (1905) as well as a Ruger 32-20 Blackhawk convertable

Anybody using any of the bullets in the original post?

Some of them seem to have a full diameter that runs well ahead of the crimp groove and worries me that it won't chamber without interference

Thanks for the offer, but I'm hoping to find a plain base and my research seems to show that the RCBS bullet is a little long in the nose for my application

Does the serial number have a k in front of it

If so my sources say 1966

Are you sure that's a 20" barrel and not the 24 1/4" barrel?

Haven't got a chance to cast with it yet and probably won't be able to anytime soon

Ok was at a gun show and picked up this mold and thought it would work out in the 25 wcf (25-20).

After a closer look I realized it was too long and pointy.

Does anyone know what this mold was...

RCBS makes a set for the 30-30 geared to a .309 boolit.

The expander inserts are available individually through Midsouth or Midway

Mine on 336CB 38-55, 94 38CBC, and 336 30-30 were all 8-40 filler screws that I purchased through eBay for a minimal cost and were original Marlin factory parts
