Regarding the cocked & locked, Condition 1 carry of the 1911.
We forget that many other guns are in fact caried in this same condition you just cannot see the hammer because it is not exposed....

Any body kept a record of number of +P loads you get out of your 38 brass. Say in the neighborhood of 5.5 of Unique 150 -158 boolit... Jeff
