Years back I had a lube recipe that called for graphite, also grease & beeswax.
Never made it as I got of it from the old guy. It worked well for pistol loads but was a bit soft.

Another vote for the RCBS, wore out to many Lee's. Never wore out an RCBS.

Not impossible, but with auto index and the powder checker it would be more difficult to do.

I load until the tube is empty, then switch over. I normally try to only put in enough primers for the brass I have available to load. My Dillon is always free of primers and powder at the end of a...

Sorry, I was trying to help another person with a 650 and got mixed up.

The shell plate has to right as does the priming assembly. As much as you have had this thing to Dillon I would think it is adjusted properly by now?????:-?

Are you CERTAIN that you did not pick one up wrong?? I am not sure how it would flip completley over unless the the press is not mounted solid enough.

I use 12/20 walnut to clean before processing and 20/40 corn cob to polish and remove lube after processing.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
I get my walnut and corncob from an industrial polishing / blasting supplier. 50# bags are cheaper than a small bag at the pet store.

DUH!!!!! I know that, brain fart. The locator tab just kind of keeps the case in place while allowing it to float for alignment. It still would take a lot to push a case out unless you had a primer...

Dumb question...................do you have the correct locateing pin in place?
Forum: Reloading Equipment
I have had the same issue before on the single stage press. In the 650 I use Dillon dies with the spring and have not a primer stick on the pin.
Forum: Reloading Equipment
If you had primers in brass that passed the size die you likely short stroked the machine and must have really forced it at the primer station..
Forum: Reloading Equipment
Brass should never pop out of the priming station. You need to read the manual and verify all setup. If setup is correct you need to call Dillon and find out what the problem is. I have only put...

I have done it both ways and now cast from a bottom pour Lyman. It works well and the mold guide eliminates alignment issues.
