Please don’t let facts get in the way of of ignorance on display.
Thank you Larry Gibson for the pressure data again…….
I fail to understand the backstabbing of Colonel Cooper. Jealousy perhaps?...
8 grains of power pistol and a 230 truncated or the wonderful saeco 058.
Mr Adams
Have you looked at Larry Gibsons pressure data on the 45 ACP? I suggest you do, instead of reiterating useless comments
Col cooper’s 45 loads are not designed for putting holes in paper.
Plenty for what? Have you read Larry Gibsons pressure data on the 45 auto and Col Coopers loads?

Amen mr Gibson. The Thompson bullet in hollow point kills antelope quite well.
The NOE 200 grain solid is a pretty nice bullet in the 30WCF. The cup nose and hollow point version is what I carry in my model 64 standard chamber and one in Ackley improved.
Put five finishers...
CFE black will fill the case and give decent velocity.
Since the surplus powder market is mostly gone, thank you Washington criminals.
I’m using 4227 quite a bit in the 500. Also AL8 which works fantastic in the 500 smith and 500L. 1680, 5744 are also...

Was doing some load testing this morning. 350 grain gas check from accurate molds with 5744 and 1680. Starline brass, Remington 91/2M primer. Cases trimmed to 1.610. Fifty grains of 1680 ran 1920 and...

Sorry to say but the owner is a class AAA douche. Had some decent people working there but they all quit......
This rifle was my idea, I built the prototypes and stayed as long as I could. ...
So which version of the 270SAA are you casting? There are at least four different versions for some dumb reason. The first version was a good design and shot well at all ranges. Subsequent versions...
I have shot Col Coopers loads for years in 1911s. Never cracked a frame, even the “fragile “ aluminum frames. Larry Gibson ran pressure tests on the Cooper loads. Might want to look that up.
The...
Tried a 300 grain gas check from accurate in my lever gun. Power pistol got done decent accurate. A 350 grain gas check had better accuracy with power pistol and AL8. An NOE 400 grain semi wadcutter...
We have tried the Gould bullet in the 45. Messy bear has shot deer with them. Don’t know what alloy. We have video of a jackrabbit catching one cast with a pure lead nose
Recovered the bullet...
Mister Ross
Have you used Starline 500 special brass?
Blackhorn 209 compressed and lit with a magnum rifle primer is a fun load. Lots of smoke and sparks. It isn’t much more than a thousand feet...
AL8 bulks up nicely in the 500 Smith. Of course it’s long discontinued. I’ve been shooting 4227, loads in the mid to upper twenties. Good accuracy with low standard deviation. Four hundred grain...

Lloyd, those hollow points from Oaks were huge. We have not killed a buffalo with any hollow points just Keith bullets cast from tire weights. I am very interested in the cup nose bullets and carry...
The four inch 500 is an incredible revolver. Accurate and as much power as the shooter can handle. I really like mine, it gives me comfort to pack it in the hills. Last summer a young gal shot it...
Soon Ronnie will have a program running where you put in Bisley Ruger. It will overlay an optional size over it do you can see the changes.
For those of us that shoot a lot in cold weather wearing...

And Marky Bear shot that heifer( bison) with his short vaquero straight on. She staggered around and fell down dead. I think it was a 270saa and 2400. We’ve killed lots of stuff with 45s. Go try it,...
I used Federal 155, WC820 and a 400 grain Keith for six thousand rounds. The load ran 1163 fps and that was in a six shot oversize cylinder. Never shot anything but that load, and I quit counting...
