So, I slugged the bore. it's .347/.355. It's looks like a very short freebore in the barrel. I'll have to put the gun back together and see. Sounds like I need the bullets sized to .348?? Is...

About the only pistol powder I can get right now is h4227. And the only mold I can find is the lee 158 gas check mold. We'll see how it goes. The gun was unfired, and I'm still cleaning it up...

H4831 is a fair bit slower. The Lee book suggests using the same load volume in all cases, and use a faster or slower powder to adjust the speed...

Cant tell you accuracy. #1, I'm still getting used to the ghost ring sights, and #2, only shot at gophers with it so far. The pop doesn't allow the paper to stretch for some reason. The paper...

Go to your local larger grocery store, and go into the laundry soap isle. Buy yourself a box of borax. Pour a bunch onto the cases before melting. Amount isn't really important as long as it will...

For reasons I don't understand, Zinc seems to float after exposure to charcoal, or at least become less dense. The stirring action seems to allow the zinc to float, allowing you to slowly lower the...
