Just got my "Elvis" mold also, not sure when I'll be casting any, but curious about how they'll do in a semi-auto. My plan was for bolt action.

Check with local scrap yards for Tin or 50/50 solder. I know a few local to me that are licensed to sell metals, some can just buy scrap but not resell it.
