They last just about for ever with BP. I never resize. I stepped on one, they don't work well after that!

I have shot lots of smokeless bullets this way with BP in revolvers.

I think it's 18 or 19gr of 3fff. I lube over the end of the cylinder like a cap & ball gun.

Shilohs of that era seem to have long chambers/or long freebore, I have one. Be prepared to load a 500gr bullet way out till it touches the rifling. Once you do that you'll start to get some good...

Don't waste your time. Gift that powder to somebody else and buy the real thing.

I have a R&D conversion in 38 LC. I shoot BP and hollow based wadcutters in 38 special. Excellent shooter.

I have 3 shiloh rifles and the most I paid was $1100 for the most expensive one.. Just keep your eyes open.
