I personally carry the Shield 40 and wouldn't have anything else, but my Boss owns the XDS 45 and I have shot it a bunch. With any decent load it is more accurate than needed at self defense range...

3031 is my stand by just in case powder. I have an acceptable load for every rifle I own with 3031.
