I honestly have no clue what's causing this. How do they group at 25, 50, 100 yards. Just trying to see if this happens at all distances or just long distances.

This is too much can for a subsonic 45LC load. I'd go with a modular and user serviceable 45 cal (pistol) can. You'll get a lot more use out of it.

Agreed, a front sight block, 3# hammer, and a roll pin punch is all it takes.

Would 1/4" wire mesh work? I used 1/2" for 30cal with OK results.

I did it after PC, my process is

1. Cast
2. PC
3. Gas check and push through size.

I have an AAC Brakeout comp on my 223 and hate it because it's a noisemaker/flamethrower all in one. If this interest you, I'd sell it to you.
