I started with muffin pans now have about 15 mini loaf pans from Walmart that I fill 1/4 to 1/2 way stack great and still fit in the pot. I usually run about 400 lbs at a time

I use wash and wax with lemishine and let air dry on a towel sitting on our dining room table overnight and have never had any spots

I have never had one apart but I'm sure you could bypass the control just make sure you never run it without the pid because something could melt or start a fire

I like having a starting point when I set it up never had to adjust it to much

I bought my parts separate you can order a longer probe just make sure it is a k type and it should work fine

Smelt and clean any type of solder and you will be good to go
