Have one. Won't feed 357 rounds over 1.46 in length. Shoots 38sp OK. Isn't very smooth action wise. Save your money and look for a marlin or a Winchester.

I paid $1643 OTD for mine. The guys in the Reno gun library thought it was unfired, but I fixed that as soon as I could.

FWIW, my 357 Rossi NEVER worked out of the box. Two trips to the Rossi repair shop in Florida, a 3 to 4 month turn a round, and it still won't work. It hides in the closet now.

You think Buds is slow? Try Hinterland Outfitters. Took them 6 days to ship one to me. Then 4 days for UPS. They blamed on the Christmas rush. I didn't know they moved Christmas to January.

My '99 in 300 Savage seem to like Hornaday brass, Winchester's large rifle primers , hornaday's 150 grain SST bullets and 40.8 grains of H4895. Gives me right at a 2 inch 3 shot group at 200 yards.

    Winchester '92 trapper takedown

I acquired one in 357 mag a while back. Winchester says it was made in 2010, but they don't know how many were made. I was hoping someone here might have some idea of the number made.
