Is the powder loose? I use a thin piece of florist foam to hold the powder in position.

Good, no. But I would say fair. I'd lean towards $250 for the safties. Last 2 Glenfield 30-30s went for $250 in fair condition. They'd been hunted with and showed use.

BO is the date code and first 2 digits of the serial number. Most marlins can be dated by serial numbet code. Charts on the interwebs.
Buy it or let one of us. I really like my model 30 & paid more than that. Check the action to verify tightness, but I'd be surprised if it was loose. Fun little guns. Reloading is easy for the 32...
I use Dillon even though they say they won't work. they work fine.
