I have an old lee 214 hollow point for the 44. It does have a pretty short nose on it.

Buffalo Bore advised against using any of their 44 spl ammo in the charter. Except their full wad cutter load. Maybe charter has beefed them up a bit?

Mine dropped between .427 and .431 depending on where I measured. Now use the NOE version exclusively.

If you mix about half and half water dropping will probably have you somewhere in that range.

As I understand it, the rg system will not work in calibers smaller than about .32 or so, and the single pin is the only option for smaller hp's.

I put mine in a ziplock bag and massage them arount...seems to be a little gentler on them.

NEI makes a couple heavier designs. I have heard their product is not what it was, though.
