They are back. The carpenter bees.
I took a few out yesterday.
The walnut shell loads are ok but the ones loaded with the lead "dust" were much better.
Wing shooting bee with a handgun is a blast....

I grow copious amounts of garlic as a hobby.
I give it to family and friends.
All the cooks in the family love it.
Some like it still in the bulbs and some like it ground but they all like the...

My Wifes uncle was a fuel truck driver for Gen. Patton armored division.
He was there. It was a horrific battle.
He didn`t want to talk about it much.
Tears filled his old eyes when he did.

Stand your newly primed cases on a small piece of glass next to where you prime your cases.
If they wiggle or wobble at all, the primer is high.

I have been loading a shot size called "dust" in my 44 Mag.
It works better than my load of walnut shells on carpenter bees.

I`ve had 1 or 2 hang around all winter.
The feeder suddenly went empty in a hurry.
I assume that the migrators are back.
It`s time to put both feeders up.

Oregon WILL NOT remind you.
It is up to you to check.

I recently made a sniff and look test of all my powders to check them for deterioration.
All is well in the loading room.

When I first read " Is this going to be 2/6/92 I was thinking " Back to the future".

I have used both graphite and Motor Mica.
They both have worked well for me.

I have a Marlin Classic and 225415 and 225438 Lyman molds.
It like the lighter 225438 the best.
It will shoot the 225415 , but you have to push it pretty hard to stabilize it.
Forum: Cast Boolits
First off, I don`t cast often.
When I do, I cast a lot of bullets.
I drain my pot every time that I finish a run of a particular bullet.
If I know that I am going to cast with the same alloy...
Mine has 100% function with 32 gr of 4064 or IMR 4895 with cast from 150-200 gr.
That seems to be lighter than most M1s want.
Start low and when you get to 100% function call it good.

I have owned a number of 22 RF rifles over the years.
My 581 is by far the most accurate.
It is not so fussy about which ammo you feed it.
If I get over to the east side to shoot sage rats, I will easily shoot over 1000.
If just shooting for fun, insert plinking here, it will be more like 500.
I`ll tell you how long that I have been loading.
Winchester primers came that same box with wooden trays.
loading presses came with flat and rounded primer seating punches.

My lot of WC820 says to use AA9 data.
I have and that has worked out well.
My lot of WC844 says to use H335 data.
That has worked out well, also.

I have the alloy page printed and tacked to the wall of my loading room.
