just wanted to say I shoot mostly cast in lot of my rifles I am going to try to post a pic here of a deer I shot today with 35 rem 200gr with 16 gr. 2400
it was about 100 yards90448...

well I just got my 30 cal check maker from free chex and like it lot better then pat marlin's check maker the checks come out very well crisp walls next I will be ordering about 3-4 more checker...

I have 3 from pat and got 1 coming from free chex I hope to swap out some checks for some I need.

I wish I could find a old lyman mold they used to make for 30/40 craige I like real pointed style for 30 cal. can I use a lee mold and a dermal tool to point one out?

thanks will try that only got 5 -6 pieces to do there about 10 inches long by 6 wide. there too hard to do gas checks so I thought make them softer will help the punch go thru trying to make 30 cal...

anyone can explain easy way to anneal aluminum for make gas checks. can it be done in a oven? I tried to use a torch but it just melted. any help ?

if your not able to jump in to reloading 35 ask around for some trades, I load for 35 rem for yrs. lee makes a heavy bullet for 38 cal. buy a push thru die cast your own. as far as gas checks more...

I like shooting the k98 I shoot 200 gr lead hard cast gc I use red dot and blue dot with poly fill 1/2 to 1gr with real heavy crimp no leading

why not just buy a lee 309 there only less then 20.00 the buy a 311 lee don't size lube and shoot
my 7.7 and 303 works fine
