I have seen those! Your experience has been positive? I have had a Lee Loader for a few decades and enjoy using that from time to time.

Not exactly the same - but Larry Pottersfield had a fantastic video of making brass shells and loading for an 11 gauge shotgun.

I saw that. I have quite a few examples of the cartridge, strangely enough - those that were still sewn into packs on stripper clips were the least affected examples that I have seen. Perhaps the...

That's quite a few to put together without split necks.

Perhaps I am misunderstanding your post? No one seems to be disputing that.

I guess I don't understand this. Wouldn't the sizing die being too large result in easier passage over the brass in resizing?

Maybe you have tried this source. My kin in Alberta have gotten several hard to find items from them.

Depending on the make of the Nagant brass it may have a much thicker web than the 25 WCF (the old milsurp fiber board box stuff being the thickest in my experience). Also, depending on whom you...

What are you shooting this from? I had a buddy give me samples and it REFUSES to feed from my Model 43.

Oh c'mon - Granny's, The taxidermy shop, and one could make a case for Lloyd Harkin's place!

I should have specified - I use 99% isopropyl. HUGE difference. But I have it readily available.

I have used powdered graphite for that. But mostly because I hate powder sticking to EVERYTHING if you use a liquid lubricants.
Edit - make sure that you have disassembled everything that you can...
Boy ..they may have been designed that way, but I'd be for trimming some length off of those Bad Larry's

That seems a bit high. Load Data suggests this load. This data is from a 44 1/2 rifle - not a pistol. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240322/9bf3b971a36a49a21e9e7ba83e4ee251.jpg

Very nicely done!!!!
Try a piece of carpet instead of the pool noodle for packing, it will save your shoulder.
(Don't shoot the chains BTW)

Have you cast this chamber? Maybe try loading with a light charge of pistol powder and cream of wheat with a toilet paper "bullet". I'm betting that your 92 chamber is different than you may be...

I would definitely look for an 1892 Winnie to go with that Colt. Preferably from the same appropriate period. I'm not a huge Marlin guy, but there wouldn't be much wrong with that either.

In cab or cabless tractor?
In a cab - nothing trumps leather. Outdoor use there is a leather substitute made from silicone which doesn't degrade in UV light. Either are cheap and easy and long...

I believe that Hornady also makes it. Yes, I think that the brass I bought was all Winchester.

Looks like you're doing well TBG!
Embarrassingly enough - I found hundreds of 7-30 cases for next to nothing in the 90's and formed them into 30 WCF and 35-30.
