I had the same problem with my Karhs in 45 acp i used the HG 68 and ran into the same condtion, used a HG130 that has a shorter col , problem fixed

hands down the 45 acp is # 1

I use a stop watch running all the time when to cut the sprue off about 10 seconds

At one time i had a Browning BPCR i used a Saeco #020 540 gr cast bullet with 50 gr of H4831 this was the best load/ powder after trying at least 5 other powders that are recomended for the 45/70 ! ...

i used alot of kegs of BE like yours in the late 1970 & 80s

I used at least 5K fed lp mag primers in the 45 acp with the same load i worked up with fed lp std primer accuracy was darn near the same at 25 yards

I also had excellent service from KENSIGHTS !

For the 45/70 i use a Saeco #017 350 gr FPGC and 31 gr of 5744 about 1,500 fps from a rifle .

the 270 gr speer dc works well

Leupold and burris pistol scopes have the largest field of view of the lot ! all other brands ive used had less field of view, weaver , bushnell ,nikon ,tasco ,S&W ECT

Had the same problem ! A+ on annealing the gas checks, this makes them softer with less spring back

For me the Saeco 540 gr GC bullet with 50 grs of H 4831 shot the best in my Browning BPCR , shoot at 200 yards as bullet my not be fully stablized at 100 yards Mine would do about 2 inch group every...

I also have the 354 in a 4 cavity ! shoots well from several hand guns and rifles, for light loads under 900 fps. i do not use gas checks and still get good accuracy .

in the past i read that VV 3N37 was also used in 22 rim fire !

i prefer GREEN hands down

I had good results with WSF in the 38 , no longer made!

I shoot lead bullets 95% of the time from 4 karhs TP45 P45 PM9 and PM380 for years no problems!

A friend has a 378 WB and it shoots jacketed pretty good! but each shot is worse than the last, we found that shooting from a benchrest that is about 5' high so you can shoot the gun standing up...

I have a Saeco #384 , #377 and the # 929, I have two 38 supers one with Nowlen and another with a Kart barrel , I also have several 9mms all guns shoot the best with either the #929 or the #377,...

cant help with rechambering unless there is something in handloader
