Some have used a Lee progressive for sizing and expanding and then prime off the press. This way produces a batch of brass ready for the other steps on a turret press.

The pertains to point of impact in my 45-70 Handi Rifle. I was shooting 13.5 grs Unique and a 350 grain plated Berry's bullet. At 30 yards the load printed 8 inches higher than factory 405 gr ammo....

I think the Cowboy Die set's advantage is the expander die which expands the case to a larger diameter which makes it more suitable for seating cast bullets. A Lyman M die will do this for you.
