Either way, I have both the 1895cb in 45-70 and the Ruger Super Redhawk Alaskan in 454 casull with me I go out. Its nice to now I have more gun that I need.......:)

Looking for advice getting started casting for my Marlin 1895CB in 45-70. Im also thinking about casting for my 454 Casul

Why would the 45-70 be better? there is nothing the 454 Casull will not take down in North America. It was designed to take down Grizzly's and I have seen it used to take down big game in Africa...
