I have no means to measure velocity, but the lower charge, flush seated, had the same grouping size, and the same point of impact on the target, as the higher charge set out to the crimp grove. So...

I seat my Lyman WC flush, with a slight roll crimp over the top. I also tried seating it out more. The Lyman has a small crimp grove... but my gun [S&W model 19] liked it flush better. Also It took...

I ran through this also. early reloads I didn't wipe down, and started fouling the chambers on my revolver. Now I just use a big patch, and just give a quick wipe as I pull the round off the press....

Im getting my ducks in a row to start casting up some Lyman 358495 wad cutters to feed my 38 revolver for the CF leg in bulls eye shooting. At this time I really don't want to mess around with...

Well here is my pot. I got it after my dad passed and as you can see it's pretty much as he left it many years ago. I've been studying casting for some time, but have yet to fire up the pot. What's...

Call there customer svc line. I called to order up a expander die, and a new insert for a old odd ball one I had. They were vary helpful, and had my stuff in a week.

I use mine now for seating, and crimping 38/357. I don't have a expander die, and the normal size carbide sizing die just works so well, that I just seat, and crimp. I have two seater/crimp dies......

Ya I tell you I brushed off a lot of great advice when I was a kid also!!! Sometimes it just takes time to learn that you don't know it all. Also 50 myself... Now I KNOW I don't know it all, and...
