What you call a "drip" I call a wrinkle. Happens to me with a too cold mold. I like frosty bullets so I cast hot, around 775.

I used that same bullet and the Lee C312-185 in my M44 with excellent results. Those bullets over 12gr. Red Dot or 16gr. 2400 make some nice shooting loads.

Get the bullshop NASA lube and you can use it for both black and smokeless. I also have a Pedersoli Sharps and Pedersoli rolling block and both only see BP and NASA lube as fodder.

You should try bullshop's NASA lube. Works with BP and that fad powder. I thin it a tad with EVOO for pan lubing my BPCR bullets and it is excellent stuff.

I have a Darrell's K31 mount I modified to fit my Swiss G1911 and an S&K for a K31 and Finn M39. All mounts are rock solid. I also use Loctite on all the screws.
