My transaction with Stick_man could not have been better. Nice guy, and a straight up dealer.

Longbow, I've tried many wads through smoothbore barrels. The Federal 12S3 has been the most consistent performer, but maybe only because I've used it most. Cutting the wad petals for a smoothbore...
I've had good luck with the .690" and a smoothbore and many different loads, and GREAT luck with the .690 RB and a rifled barrel using the following recipes (USE AT OWN RISK):
.690” RB, FedTopGun...
I've never gotten exactly one once with any of a myriad type of alloys tried, even after many , many hundreds of slugs cast. In fact, I sometimes get quite a bit of variation in slug weights with...
Never mind...I found your "how to" video. Nice job with that one too! thanks.!

Excellent video. Having tried lots of different types of loads I love this type of experimentation. Never tried this one! Can you tell me if there was any particular way of stacking the shot column...
My best loads have used Unique for 7/8 oz Lee slugs; 4756 and AA#5 for 1 oz slugs; Green Dot for 00 buckshot; Blue Dot for Tri-ball loads; Universal for .690 RB loads.
Can't seem to get one powder...

When I first saw a picture of that thing I thought it was either photoshopped or that some bubba had performed a cruel joke. I don't get it.
I rarely ever weigh in to criticize someone else's...

I just book-marked this...seems like a great deal. Payday is next week...
this one(click here) is nylon, and for me it works better than the steel lyman one I have. I've been using it for two years, lots of slugs, and so far so good. Can't beat the price. Looks like the...

I've never chopped up a whole one, but I have built a rifle (or two) from parts gathered from around cyberspace. My favorite one I cut down from a Hungarian M44 barreled receiver I bought for $14.95...

I bumped into this Youtube this afternoon. This guy uses one of these tools with Fiocchi hulls with good results. Like I said...certain hulls came out okay for me, but never as good as the $11.99...

Not an expert...but I have one of those and get mixed results so I rarely use it. Success depends on the thickness and pliability of the plastic it seems to me. Thin and skimpy hulls do better....

I found this to be true for three different calibers, perhaps as many as one out of three brass. Still, Privi is good durable stuff.
I found the BPI "Roll Crimping Your Shotshells"data sheet. These loads are not for your hulls, but may help in the future:
Load #1
2" 12 gauge Fiocchi Hull
FIO616 primer
19gr Green Dot
X12X ...

Hodgdon has 2" loads for the hulls you listed. Ballistic Products has a data sheet for roll crimped loads that has a few similar loads but with other hulls,...
John,
There was no doubt that God was looking out for me on that day. I found the bolt in the back of the range shack after it had put a dent in a board on the back wall. Considering I had a good...
Wow....retro flashback. I've probably loaded and shot a few thousand slugs since then, and no bad news to report. Probably because I check every load twice now....a good education doesn't come...
CCI 109 and CCI 209 are identical except for the color of the metal.. ..info to this effect is listed in just about all reloading manuals (check the safety precaution sections). I have a pretty big...
Loaded up a box of of "00" buck last night using Estate hulls. I will not kid about the difficultly of having to adjust your crimper until it comes to appreciate the type of plastic the hull is...
House, as you can see from the manual that RNc so graciously loaded for you, that making buckshot from your existent components is a difficult task...if one wants to follow any type of tested and...
I whole heartily agree on the slower powder theory using specialized wads for hunting. I have compiled a spreadsheet from a number of sources like BPI, PRI, and early Lyman and Reloading for...
