Years ago I has a gentleman build me a pid controller. Life got in the way and I have lost the instructions and the unit doesn't seem to have any brand name or anything and I can't for the life of me...
I like the Lee 175gr mold for target work and for hunting I use the OREO designed MP 200gr solid. I will say that as long as that load is going at least 1000FPS I have had complete penetration on...
Yes it is smooth leather lined and this piece actually had an very smooth outside texture I don't expect any clothing wear
I've made a few over the years from shark I think it's a bit harder to work with than some others but as far as durability you can't beat it in exotic skins.
I had a shark skin laying around and when another customer wanted a shark rig, I decided to build an extra for my 5 inch gun, only on mine I used blue thread for an accent! Thanks for looking:

I agree with most everyone else that it's a step in the right direction and I'll support them with a purchase and segregate it for my Rem 700 LTR
Thanks Guys! I'm thinking about doing a hand carved shoulder rig to in the same color to match
It's a dyed maple
burl. I have a thing for 1911 grips I think I own about 50 sets

I think your ready to hunt! I've killed about 12 hogs over the years with a 10MM load that does 1100fps with a 200gr WFN and never had an issue. Place your shots well and you have freezer fodder!
I built this one mainly just to see if I could!

That Lyman is a great mold and if your just starting with HPs a good way to learn and see if you like the process
I think that is one of the best looking versions of the Blackhawk they have ever made!
I use 358 inline and it works well with my lee 125gr and MIhec 125gr HP
You might also check with MI-HEC and see if he has a copy of OREOs design it is an amazing mold. I'm sure the NOE is awesome to as I have a couple of his just not that one yet.

I have that MP 200gr mold and really really like it!
I bought one of the Lispeys bisley model 44 specials to make some holsters for. I managed to get it sighted in and tested with the skeeter load for accuracy and so far am in love! Guess I should make...
Thats the same load i carry in my backup 38 great load!

Another vote for coffee cans! Loaded ammo goes in ammo cans that I spray paint certain colors for different calibers
