just ordered a stainless .243 Tikka Varmint . . . usually use one of the .222/.223 family of cartridges, hoping i will get a bit more range.

you really need to have a dialup scope to get any kind of range, combined with something like the Burris Zee rings with inserts . .. my present scope with subsonics is 6XLeupold with .5MOA clicks...
