I have the same model you do and for me it shoots great. I like to shoot in IPSC like matches with Revolvers and I alternate between the 625 and the 929. Moon clips for the win!!

If I recall correctly there was also bronze wear found in the Xian tomb where the Terracotta warriors were found in China.
Thanks UncleDave, That is what I was looking for. I have all kinds of brass in various containers and I did not want to count them all.
Thanks

That should give a nice jolt to your morning toast.
Is there a table somewhere that tells you the weight of various pistol caliber cases?
I have started to weigh some brass and make a chart but I is tedious.
Very cool. It will be handy next time I forget how to put my 1911 back together after I clean it :)
Great info thanks!!
I have tried the BMT Mooner and I like it bt it seems a bit rough getting the cases out of the clip and since it is plastic I wonder about its long term durability.
I wanted to try a 41mag but I found all the reloading components are tough to get at a price that made it worth while. I just stick with my 686 and load it really hot.
I have a S&W 625 that I really like.
I have a cheap hollow tube like screwdriver to pull the cases or unshot rounds off the moon clips.
What Devices do you guys use to load the moon clips or...
Also should probably point out that the bullets are sized .356 and the barrel is (supposed to be) .355. I have not checked the barrel but the bullets are consistantly .3555. I think if they were a...
Sorry I went from 3.8 of 21 to 4.0 of 231. still very soft and I have not chrono'd them yet.
I was shooting lead 124gr in my 929 and they were tumbling. I increased the powder charge slightly and that helped.
For A revolver I think I would choose a S&W 625 with a 5" barrel and shoot the same 255 SWC. In fact, I think there is a pin shoot coming up at my club soon. I will try those 2 set ups since I still...
I had a compensated .45 acp set up for bowling pins ie a "Pin Gun". I used 255 grain SWC. they had a good bite on the pin. they were loaded with 5.6 of 231 if I recall correctly.
I have one of those and I love it. I hope you will also. Its fun to shoot your "auto" ammo in a wheel gun. There is a cheap de-mooning tool for the 45 and you may want to look into a
B.M.T. Mooner...
Nice post. I am a 9mm shooter and the post and follow ups are very useful.
Very nice post. I just bought a Smith and Wesson revolver I intend to shoot a lot. You have inspired me to keep track of how many rounds I actually shoot. Thanks

It is amazing what you can find if you look around. I was in some random pawn shop recently and he had 200 federal small pistol primers on his shelf. I have not been able to find them anywhere. I...

2 Stars and 2 loadmasters but I want a Dillon 1050. Actually I really want a fully automated set up. No wait I want to buy Federal (the whole company) so I can give up loading my own and take my...

I was lucky and had friend that had stuff and wanted me to be happy. Sold me a Star set up for 38 and 45 for $100. came with the case feeder and primer tubes. I spent hours making a table with just...
I had to call Lee because one of my progressives was sticking rotation wise. The tech talked me through several of the likely causes and was able to get the problem solved. I agree that there is...
