On the same wonderful day, I bought a 1st generation Universal M1 Carbine and a Beretta Model 71 in .22 cal.
Both have proven to be marvelous guns. Can't wait to see what comes by next!

I was just scratching my head on how I was going to determine lead hardness. I'm just starting to look for local sources and this method will prove handy if I come across some.
