I'm just pushing a 300gr at low velocity with Unique...the gun is a new to me CVA Scout v2 in the 45-70. I'll work the loads up to at least an "ouch'' recoil.

I purchased them from a reputable supplier that I've dealt with over the years for many cast bullets.
Properly cured? I have no idea how to tell that, but I rely on the supplier to sell a quality...

I'll give that a go...and I won't be crimping, as my 45-70 rifle is a single shot. The velocity I load to will be 1050 or so
