Looks like you have a 92, how does yours work? any problems or have you done any mods. to it? also if I get it running I need to get a mold to start casting.

.357 shooter ill be honest , no i didn't clean it at all it is new so I thought it should clean.

yes it gos in ok it is getting hung up before it reaches the chamber. almost like it is too steep of an angle. it looks like it hits the top of the cartridge on the top of the chamber.

I just took my new Rossi 92 out of the box and headed to my back yard to shoot it and was very disappointed when it would not chamber any .357 ammo that I had , I tried 3 types and would not chamber...

I have shot commercial lead and my own cast straight w/w for several hundred rounds without any problems.

Now, all the sudden i'm getting a lot of leading, like the groves are full at the muzzle....

I have found a pile of old vent pipe lead sheating at a roofers shop, what type of lead is this and what can it be used for in boolit casting?

I am casting 182gr. .40 s&w sized to .401 air cooled ww's shooting at aprox. 800 fps. I have not sluged my bore, but I have used commercial cast sized to .401 in the past with no problems.
