I just did two loads yesterday, without pins, just the standard squirt of Dawn and a sprinkle of Lemi Shine. That will wash the inside and polish the outside. Which is all you need for safe sizing...

I can and did drive my 357 magnums to 1375 fps all day long with the Johnson Wax TL and never problem with leading.
